TechFusion Broadcast Interview on CRTV - CEO of NdeTek (Nfor Nde Nyambi)

Showcasing NdeTek Papers, Startup Vision, and AI-Driven Education in Cameroon

Sometime between April and June 2025, Nfor Nde Nyambi, CEO and Founder of NdeTek, sat down for a television interview broadcast on CRTV, Cameroon's national broadcaster, and shared across TechFusion's media channels, to talk through his journey in software engineering and the company he had built.

From Student Developer to Founder:

Nfor traced his path back to 2020, when he enrolled at the College of Technology, University of Buea to study software engineering. Over the course of his degree, he worked with several companies, locally and abroad, as well as on a freelance basis, building a range of technical solutions. It was during his undergraduate years that he identified a recurring problem: students across the university struggled to access past continuous assessment (CA) and exam papers to prepare efficiently. That observation, made while still a student himself, became the starting point for NdeTek Papers.

The Product and Its Growth:

By the time of the interview, NdeTek Papers had already reached more than 1,000 active users across four major institutions: the University of Buea, the University of Bamenda, HIBMAT University Institute of Buea (HUIB), and Landmark Metropolitan University Institute of Buea. The platform serves past continuous assessment and examination papers, along with proposed solutions, to Cameroonian university students.

Where AI Fits In:

Nfor also discussed how his team uses AI to shape and speed up their engineering work, specifically how they leverage AI tools to generate proposed solutions for the past papers hosted on the platform, a detail that speaks directly to how NdeTek approaches building at a small team's scale.

Looking Beyond EdTech:

Beyond the current product, Nfor spoke about NdeTek's ambitions to expand into other sectors, including FinTech and HealthTech, pointing to the broader market potential he sees across Africa and internationally. The segment closed with a live walkthrough of NdeTek Papers V1, the version of the platform in production at the time.

The Interviewer:

The interview was conducted by Ms. Fame Bunyui Ayiseh, CEO of TechFusion and host of TechTalkWithFame, and, at the time of the interview, the only dedicated tech journalist working at CRTV Cameroon.
